Vice President JD Vance has sensationally blasted the US Conference of Catholic Bishops after they criticized Donald Trump's ICE raids in churches and schools.

Vice President JD Vance and the Catholic Church — of which he is a member — are at odds over U.S. immigration policy.

"When they receive over $100 million to help resettle illegal immigrants, are they worried about humanitarian concerns? Or are they actually worried about their bottom line?"

Vice President J.D. Vance said Sunday that he was “heartbroken” by what he called unfair criticism by America’s Catholic bishops of the Trump administration’s early moves to crack down on illegal immigration.

JD Vance knocked the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops after the group criticized some of Donald Trump's immigration policies.

Vice President Vance said in an interview aired Sunday that the US Conference of Catholic Bishops has "not been a good partner in common sense immigration enforcement" after the assembly condemned several of President Trump 's executive orders.

He also asserted that the organization has acted as a barrier to law enforcement detaining undocumented immigrants.
