Few coaches could stick around at one school, especially in this ever-changing college basketball landscape. Michigan State has had the same head coach for thirty years now.

The Michigan State Spartans were, seemingly, in control throughout the game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Despite that, head coach Tom Izzo was still visibly animated and getting on his players throughout the 73-51 win.

Michigan State continues to get it done without a true star while showcasing a lineup that regularly goes 10 deep. The Spartans are the lone team in the AP Top 25 with only one player averaging double figures in scoring (Jaden Akins at 13.6) and that’s obviously difficult for opponents to scout and defend.
